Who we are and what we care about
 

The sole focus of Coaching for Leadership is leadership and top team coaching.

Our expertise has been developed over fifteen-years during which Richard Sharpe, our lead coach, and a team of experienced associates have worked on a range of leadership and organisation development projects with a number of large public and private sector organisations.

We aim to build close and trusting relationships with both our client organisations and our coachees. We are committed to providing a high quality service and to our own on-going supervision and development.

Coaching for Leadership adheres to the European Mentoring and Coaching Council's Code of Ethics.

All of our consultants have been trained in the coaching process and supporting skills. Many have designed and delivered coaching skills training for managers in large organisations. Most have Masters level qualifications in relevant disciplines (Organisational Psychology, Organisational Behaviour and Learning and Development). All are British Psychological Society Level A and B certified and are licensed to run a range of psychometric tests.

Our focus and aim through coaching is to demonstrably improve the performance of the leaders we work with. Our coaching approach is cognitive and goal orientated. We actively engage in measuring the outcomes of the coaching relationship and find that our clients benefit from an understanding of the return they get from their coaching investment. We are proud of the tangible performance improvements our coachees have achieved with our support and assistance.

Our coaching model and process has been developed from a strong conceptual base and enhanced through experience and client feedback.

More than anything coaching is a relationship between people. The more respect, collaboration, trust and openness, the more successful the relationship. We enjoy these privileged relationships and our clients tell us that we are good at building them.

For us, coaching is far more than a market opportunity. It is our own chosen path for finding fulfilment in our work and our lives. We have seen its power and its capacity to liberate the potential of individuals, teams and organisations and we are inspired by this.
